Case 23 foveal changes like speckles
- 1951 date of birth, no symptoms, referred by optometrist
- Right visual acuity 6/9, left 6/7.5
- left photograph reveals 'speckles' (my term).
These findings were presented at a meeting (2010). It was felt these speckles were benign and may represent a previous problem, such as a mild infection. There should be no change in future and sight should remain good.
the OCT ..the speckles are hard to see
Speckles..much easier to see with a regular photograph
